Design the label for I Come to Shanghai’s Eternal Life LP
We’re on the verge of having our new record pressed. We just have one difficult little detail: We need labels. Are you a designer? Are you interested in working for a music-based reward? We are taking submissions for label designs. The label will have to feature the following information:
1. It needs to incorporate the logo for our label (below) and be accompanied by “Texachusetts Records”
https://docs.google.com/open?id=1Q2VXez0CFy43LftN4pp1hlsTljaE292TtLB8z9-_Qzlbm7Bv-xkSXwyC_Tjz
2. Only one color can be used. The background will be white. So black and white, grey and white, whatever.
3. It needs to say “Eternal Life Vol. 1” (or 2) and feature the tracklast from the record (available here:www.icometoshanghai.com)
We’re thinking something classic looking like the image above, but we’re open to ideas.
The winning design, should one emerge, will gain its creator the following items: A copy of the LP, a copy of the super limited Visible Cow Sketches cassette, and (drumroll) an MP3 of an unreleased I Come to Shanghai song. This song will not be released. You will be the only person outside the band to possess it.

We’ll be checking out everything. Thanks for your help!

Mixtape: Deerhoof is Animals
In preparation to see Deerhoof (one of my favorite bands) this week, I decided to make an evangelizing mixtape for a friend.
